Pre-K Lead Teacher

At Summit Early Learning Center, we believe that every child deserves a joyful, nurturing environment where they can grow, explore, and thrive. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to guide our Pre-K classroom (ages 4–5 years). This role is perfect for someone who loves fostering creativity, curiosity, and school readiness as children prepare for kindergarten.

What You’ll Do

  • Create fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and families, creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Collaborate with the director, fellow teachers, and aides as part of a supportive, team-oriented community.
  • Celebrate milestones such as our Christmas program and Pre-K graduation with your class!

What We’re Looking For

  • Teacher-qualified with the State of Colorado, Department of Early Childhood.
  • A team player with strong communication skills who connects easily with children and families.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and patient, with a passion for early education.
  • Willing to stay current on required trainings (CPR, First Aid, etc.) and continuing education.
