Standard PrecautionsThis training is now offered at no cost through Colorado Shines PDIS. Click on the link under "Register" to go to the PDIS website. There you can create an account or sign in and find Universal Precautions under the "Learning" tab.
Medication Administration HybridA state approved training on how to administer medication to children in a childcare setting. This training is taught by a Registered Nurse. You must complete "Medication Administration Part I" in PDIS at www.coloradoshinespdis.com (found under "Learning" tab) BEFORE you take this training.
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
First Aid/CPRA state-wide class that meets the requirements for all licensed child care providers, renewable every two years. This class is taught by a Colorado Division of Child Care approved vendor.
9 AM - 1:30 PM
Pre-LicensingA state required 15-hour (two day) training to become a Licensed Family Child Care Provider in the State of Colorado.
