Ongoing Professional Development (PD) Hours
If you are currently working in a licensed program, you must complete 15 hours of “Ongoing Professional Development” each year. Each of those 15 hours must align to at least one of the following content areas:
Child Growth & Development; Child Observation & Assessment; Family & Community Partnership; Guidance; Health, Safety & Nutrition; Professional Development & Leadership; Program Planning & Development; Teaching Practices; Social Emotional *At least 3 of the 15 clock-hours must be in this category
Professional Development Information System (PDIS)
PDIS is like a personal online hub for an Early Childhood Professional. All you need to register is an email address. Once registered you can:
- Take free online trainings that help you advance in the field
- Create a personalized Professional Development Plan
- Apply for your ECE Credential 2.0
- Join the network of EC Professionals in our State!
