Are you interested in giving back to the community by serving on the Board of Directors for The Early Childhood Council of La Plata County? We encourage you to apply!
We are looking for individuals who:
* Have a passion for our vision: “All children are valued, healthy & thriving”
* Represent the community of La Plata County – and may have experience with fundraising, grant writing, early care and education, mental health, advocacy, business, policy, and/or community development
* Can commit to a minimum of six board meeting per year, plus additional time to help with events and committees. Time commitment varies throughout the year, but expect 2-3 hours per month.
* Are interested in being part of a coalition of community members and agencies working together to create an early childhood system.
