Local and Regional Scholarship Opportunities:
ECE Buell Professional Training Scholarship
This regional scholarship started in 1999 with the goal of increasing the amount of Early Childhood Professionals in Southwest Colorado. This scholarship provides academic advising and scholarship funding for early childhood aides, teachers, directors and staff to attend accredited community colleges and universities, and to help you reach Colorado Department of Early Childhood licensing requirements. Apply for this scholarship through Durango Adult Education.
T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship
If you’re employed at a licensed child care program you might qualify for one of the several TEACH Scholarships.
Women’s Resource Center Opportunity Scholarship
If you find that you can’t afford a training or college course that would benefit your career, you might be eligible for this local Scholarship. Applications are due the first Thursday of each month, individuals can receive the scholarship up to three times.
Rural R.U.N. Scholarship
The Rural Reskilling, Upskilling, Next-skilling (R.U.N.) Scholarship Program provides career counseling and tuition support to early childhood professionals in rural communities seeking to reskill, upskill, or next-skill.
